Job SummaryPharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions.
Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patient at the point of admission.
Assists Pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
Requirements- High school graduate
- Must have Rhode Island Pharmacist Technician II License
- Skills in Math, typing, and computers are necessary
Preferably a graduate of Pharmacy Technician Training Program
SchedulePart Time 8/16 - Every Other Weekend Only 2:30p-11p
Must have availability during week to train
