Job Summary:
The Clinical Therapist Engagement & Diversion ACT Team will provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Providence Center or in the community, within our new "CCBHC" (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) capacity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform crisis intervention, counseling, screening, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program.
- Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers.
- Provide individual, group, and family mental health and/or substance abuse therapy.
- Collaborate with other providers, agencies, and individuals in the consumers' network of care.
- Perform record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other Center requirements.
- Attend trainings, case presentations and conferences.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with Center staff, consumers, community agencies and the public.
- Provide mental health consultation to other community agencies.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and clinical experience required.
- LICSW strongly preferred. LCDP and/or LMHC preferred.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with consumers, community agencies and Center employees.
- Position may require driving. Must have valid driver's license, registration, current inspection and insured automobile.
