We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential, and the role involves 25% travel outside the territory.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives.
Represent Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide troubleshooting and technical assistance.
Receive technical inquiries by customers and research solutions (e.g., catheter, console, generator support).
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures.
Conduct one‑on‑one training sessions, in‑service education programs, seminars, and participate in external symposiums.
Assist RM and the field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers.
Provide training resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.
Update sales representatives concerning procedures and immediately notify the Account Manager regarding issues requiring follow‑up.
Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding products, service and support.
Promote safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives and work in partnership with the Account Manager to achieve or exceed goals.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years’ experience in healthcare within an EP, cath lab setting or cardiac sales.
- Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare within an EP, cath lab setting or cardiac sales.
- Bachelor’s degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years’ experience in healthcare within an EP, cath lab setting or cardiac sales.
- Preference for local qualified candidates and those with prior Medtronic experience.
- B.A./B.S. degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline with a minimum of four years’ experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.
- Pacing school/ATI‑like training program in addition to BQs.
- Proven track record with technical training assignments.
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
Job Requirements
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Be available within your assigned territory daily to respond to unscheduled needs.
- Occasional travel outside the territory; overnight stays may be required.
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed.
- Must stand, sit, walk, and use a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding PR): $100,000 – $120,000 (USD). In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
