Position Summary:
The Clinician will work collaboratively as part of the Emergency Services Team to support the safety, recovery, and overall wellness of clients. The Clinician will conduct emergency assessments using validated screening tools in the client’s home, in the community, or at the office, and connect clients with appropriate treatment. Clinicians work on a multidisciplinary team that includes case managers, supervisory support, and medication providers.
Mobile Response Clinicians may work with children up to 18 years old within the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) program, which offers stabilization support for up to 30 days. Clinicians may also evaluate adults in crisis within the Providence area or other areas of RI for FSRI clients who are open to CCBHC services.
- Conduct emergency assessments and screening, and connect clients with appropriate treatment resources.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, supervisors, and medication providers.
- Serve as Mobile Response Clinician for MRSS as applicable, including work with youth up to 18 years old and stabilization up to 30 days.
- Evaluate adults in crisis within Providence or other RI locations for FSRI clients eligible for CCBHC services.
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor.
- Proficiency with medical record software, word processing, and database software.
- Spanish speaking preferred and compensated.
- Flexible schedule with some evenings; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligible for QMHP Certification.
- Bilingual/ASL skills compensated by an additional 6% of base pay; multilingual skills compensated by an additional 8% of base pay.
- Mobile Response Clinicians earn an additional $500.00 monthly incentive.
This position requires community visits and the ability to:
Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration, and auto insurance
Effective communication and the ability to travel to and from clients’ residences, community locations, and office sites (may involve stairs or elevators)
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to work remotely and in person while adhering to PHI requirements
