Part‑time Residential Clinicians will earn an additional monthly incentive. FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community.
Position Summary:
Within the residential setting, provide individual, group, and family therapy to residents and support integration of the Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) model in the milieu. Responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, co‑creating treatment plans with youth and families, providing short- and long-term trauma‑informed counseling services for clients, and transition advocacy toward permanency. Provide emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed. Collaborate with direct care staff to ensure appropriate delivery of services to clients.
This role is about being a steady, trusted presence for teens and young adults who are navigating complex challenges during a critical stage of their lives. As a clinician in our residential group homes, support individuals not just through treatment, but through growth, self‑discovery, and the rebuilding of trust in themselves and others.
The work centers on connection—listening without judgment, responding with empathy, and helping young people develop the skills and confidence to move forward. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your clinical insight helps shape safe, supportive spaces that prioritize dignity, resilience, and long‑term well‑being.

Qualifications- Master’s degree in a human services related field required.
- Independent license eligibility within 2 years of date of hire required and obtain.
- MSWs and those with associate licenses must be actively working toward their licensure and must meet requirements as established in the RI General Law.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, registration, and inspection required.
- Bilingual skills preferred; compensated by an additional 6% above base pay.
- Multilingual skills compensated by an additional 8% above base pay.
- Travel to and from clients’ residences, community locations and office sites, which could include using walkways, stairs, and/or elevators.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to communicate by voice, use sight and hearing.
- Able to perform and participate in the restraint of clients as required.
