Arbor Hill Assisted Living is looking for a part-time Activities Assistant to join our team. We are located in the Federal Hill area of Providence, RI.
This is a part-time, every weekend position. Scheduled shift time is 9AM-5PM, Saturday and Sunday.
Working in the Activities Department, you will be enriching the lives of our residents. Must be able to work independently and commit to working every weekend.
Duties- Assist the Activity Director with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the activities program.
- Assist with planning and perform regularly scheduled activities that are on the monthly calendar.
- Responsible for leading and implementing one-on-one, small group and large group activities according to the programming schedule.
- Supports, encourages, and directs independent activity pursuits, both individually and in small groups.
- Has worked with senior citizens in nursing home or institutional setting.
- Has been a volunteer working with senior citizens.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Must be a high school student of at least 16 years old, high school graduate or equivalent.

Pay:$16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

16 hours per week
Schedule:- 9AM-5PM, Saturdays and Sundays
