Position Summary:
Participate as a leader and active team-member to support the behavioral health of clients accessing services ponsible for supervising the Mobile Response team including implementation of MRSS program and Adult Mobile Crisis. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care. Supervises clinicians, triage staff and provides support to agency-wide Emergency Response System (ERS). Performs crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation where needed, and manages evidenced based models of treatment.
Participates in on-call emergency services. Conducts clinical training on the MRSS Model and acts as a leader within the agency in the area of Emergency Services.
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc ) required
- Required to be in independently licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
- Experience providing treatment in a behavioral health setting and a minimum of 1year prior clinical supervisory experience required
- Experience providing emergency evaluation is a plus
- QMHP or QMHP eligible
- LCDP or experience in substance use is beneficial
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
- Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
- Flexible schedule with some evenings
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements
