Project Overview
Project TEACH (Tailored Education for Aging and Cognitive Health) is an NIH‑funded research project focused on developing a new intervention to promote health behaviors that can lower risk for Alzheimer’s disease. - Conduct research activities in conjunction with project staff, including recruiting eligible participants, conducting qualitative interviews, and collecting data.
- Review literature pertaining to the research being conducted in the scientific area of interest.
- Perform routine data maintenance as required, including scoring, coding, and entering data into a computer database.
- Establish and maintain accurate study records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Review medical records to abstract information necessary to complete study forms (if required).
- Gain experience with intervention development, qualitative methods, and clinical trials methods; collaborate on conference presentations or publications.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related area.
- At least 6 months of clinical research experience (preferably in psychology or health sciences; school‑related experience accepted).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency with Office 365.
- Written and spoken Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required.
$19.97 – $32.96 per hour.
