The Senior Program Director is responsible for the operational, financial, and strategic oversight of HNI's Emergency Medicine programs at Roger Williams Medical Center (Primary Campus) and Our Lady Fatima (within 3-5 miles away). This role serves as a key liaison between HNI, client leadership, providers, and internal teams to drive operational excellence, financial performance, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction.
What are theJob Duties ?
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of assigned programs and facilities.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, labor costs, provider compensation, and key operational metrics.
- Analyze program performance and implement strategies to improve clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
- Manage provider staffing, recruiting, scheduling, and resource allocation to support program success.
- Partner with clinical leadership to support quality initiatives, provider development, and ongoing training programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives, facility leadership, providers, and community stakeholders.
- Address operational challenges and collaborate with internal and external partners to develop effective solutions.
- Lead regular client and provider meetings to review performance, resolve issues, and align on organizational goals.
- Support contract management, business development efforts, and the successful implementation of new programs and services.
- Represent HNI at industry events, conferences, and professional networking opportunities.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have 5-7 years of healthcare operations experience in hospital medicine or emergency department.
- You have leadership experience managing teams, providers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- You possess strong financial acumen, including budgeting, reimbursement models, revenue cycle operations, and performance management.
- You have experience using operational data, reporting, and key performance indicators to drive improvements and achieve results.
- You understand healthcare quality initiatives, regulatory requirements, and value-based care models.
- You have exceptional communication, relationship-building, and client management skills.
- You can effectively balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience working with hospital leadership, physician services, hospital medicine programs, or healthcare management organizations is strongly preferred.
