Summary:The Risk Management Data Analystis responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data related to patient safety, risk management, claims, incidents, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. This position supports organizational decision-making byidentifyingtrends, monitoring key performance indicators, developing dashboards, and providing actionable data to reduce risk and improve patient outcomes.

The analyst collaborates with Risk Management, Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Prevention, Compliance, Finance, and Clinical Leadership to ensureaccuratereporting and meaningful analysis of organizational risk data.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Statistics, Public Health, Business Administration, Computer Science, ora relatedfieldrequired.

Equivalent combinations of education and progressively responsible healthcare data analysis experience may be considered.

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in healthcare analytics, quality, risk management, patient safety, or related analytical field preferred.

Experience working with incident reporting systems, electronic medical records, and healthcare databases preferred.

Experience developing dashboards and executive reports.

Knowledge of healthcare regulatory reporting requirements preferred.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Advancedproficiencywith Microsoft Excel.

Experience using reporting and visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of SQL or other database query tools preferred.

Understanding of healthcare quality measures, patient safety indicators, and risk management principles.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and meaningful manner.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Primarily office-based with prolonged periods of computer work.

Occasional attendance at meetings throughout hospital locations.

May require occasional extended hours to meet reporting deadlines.

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Frequent use ofa computer and standard office equipment.

Ability to occasionally lift upto 20 pounds.

Visual acuitysufficientto review detailed reports and electronic data.
