Transport Aide Per Diem

Job Summary

Transports patients primarily in support of activities related to 4 West and 4 East. Transport will engage in transport activities supporting other departments as available.

• Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care of all patient populations.
• Provides service as a patient escort, using correct body mechanics, for patients of all populations.
• Receives and accurately records transport tasks in TDSS while ensuring positive patient identification.
• Disinfects patient transport equipment after use and ensures proper distribution of transport equipment in areas of responsibility.
• Preserves and protects patients’ rights to confidentiality.

• Performs other job-related duties as required or requested.
• High school diploma or equivalency required. Must have good interpersonal skills and be fluent in the English language.
