Are you an experienced healthcare risk leader ready to drive patient safety, clinical risk management, regulatory readiness, and a culture of continuous learning across an acute-care hospital environment?

We’re seeking a Director, Risk Management & Patient Safety to lead clinical risk and patient safety programs while partnering with senior leadership, physicians, clinical teams, and regulatory stakeholders. This role combines hands‑on clinical risk expertise with strategic leadership, including risk assessment, patient safety investigations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk mitigation.

What You’ll Lead:
  • Direct hospital-wide clinical risk management and patient safety programs
  • Identify, investigate, escape, and mitigate significant clinical risks, safety events, near misses, and emerging trends
  • Establish standards for Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, clinical record audits, utilization reviews, and corrective action plans
  • Oversee quality-of-care complaints, sensitive patient investigations, claims-related risk indicators, and significant event management
  • Develop sustainable strategies that strengthen the organization’s culture of safety and continuous learning
What We’re Looking For:
  • CPHRM certification – required
  • Active California RN license strongly required/preferred
  • Recent Clinical Risk Management experience in an acute-care hospital
  • 3–5+ years of recent clinical risk management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise conducting detailed clinical chart reviews
