Position: Cafeteria Shift Supervisor (Full Time, Academic Year)
Summary

Monitors sanitation and product standards and supervises staff members to provide cafeteria patrons with the best possible food service

Essential Job Functions

* Monitors sanitation regulations and procedures in order to comply with university and government standards

* Oversees inventory, storage

* Supports the department by assisting on various operational tasks

* Prepares and monitors the departmental budget

* Supervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures

* Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development

* Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

* Experience working in hospitality, food service or other related experience

* Obtain and maintain food safety managers certification approved by conference for food protection

* Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
