Role OverviewThe IT Security Analyst II (AI / Product Security) is a junior–mid level role within the Product Security organization, focused on securing AI/ML systems
, including Generative and Agentic AI
. This position partners closely with Data & AI, Product Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure AI-enabled applications meet enterprise security standards and evolving regulatory requirements.
The analyst will help assess and mitigate AI-specific risks, contribute to AI security governance, and support tooling and processes that improve visibility, protection, and accountability across AI platforms and data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct security reviews and risk assessments of AI/ML systems, including LLMs, generative models, agent workflows, and supporting data pipelines
- Identify, document, and help implement AI-specific security controls such as model validation, bias mitigation, explainability, and data protection measures
- Assess and mitigate emerging AI threats including prompt injection, model misuse, data leakage, and unauthorized model behavior
- Support the development and enforcement of AI security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with NIST, ISO
, and emerging AI regulatory frameworks - Partner with product, engineering, data, legal, and compliance teams to ensure AI solutions are designed and deployed securely from inception through production
- Support security tooling and processes related to AI observability, model scanning, monitoring, and secure data handling
- Contribute to training, documentation, and awareness efforts to promote secure AI development practices across technical teams
- Assist with audits, risk reporting, and governance activities related to AI systems and regulated environments
- 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, product security, application security, or a related security role
- Hands-on exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI systems, either through security assessments, engineering collaboration, or platform support
- Understanding of AI-specific security risks, including model validation, bias, prompt injection, data protection, and explainability concepts
- Familiarity with secure SDLC practices and working within cross-functional product or engineering teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate security concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in regulated environments or industries with strong governance and compliance requirements is highly valued
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to AI governance frameworks, model risk management, or responsible AI initiatives
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms, data pipelines, or MLOps tooling
- Knowledge of relevant standards or guidance such as NIST AI RMF, ISO security standards, or emerging AI regulations
- Experience supporting security reviews for customer-facing or enterprise-scale products
