Role OverviewAs a Manager in Technology Analysis, you will lead SAP Asset Management (Plant Maintenance) initiatives, working with business stakeholders to evaluate models, translate requirements into technical specifications, and design system architecture solutions. You will manage complex technical projects, guide cross‑functional teams, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead workstream delivery and manage processes and solution implementation.
- Track deliverable completion and project status to meet performance objectives.
- Participate in client working sessions, leading work streams from planning through execution and closure.
- Assist with requirement gathering, design workshops, functional specifications, and testing cycles.
- Deliver training before go‑live and provide post‑go‑live support.
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.
- Stay current with annual releases of SAP Asset Management functionalities.
- Collaborate across work streams (procurement, project systems, finance, quality management, production, materials management, warehouse management, supply chain, IBP) to design, test, and deploy SAP solutions.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and lead RFP responses.
- Bachelor's degree (4‑year degree) required.
- 4–6 years of experience working with SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance (PM) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Strong analytical skills and experience solving complex problems.
- Proven ability to manage engagement economics, resource planning, and project-based teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
- Experience managing an SAP project or workstream, including configuration and integration with SAP and non‑SAP systems.
- Comfort researching client inquiries, emerging issues, regulations, and new technologies.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel 40–60% of the time.
- Experience in managing client relationships and expectations.
- Prior consulting industry experience advisable.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC implementations.
- Experience with Fiori, SAP Certification(s) preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, utilities, mining, oil & gas, or similar industries desirable.
- Familiarity with additional SAP modules such as mobile asset management, field service management, or spatial asset management an asset.
Base salary ranges from $142,600 to $261,500 (or $171,200 to $297,200 for select metro areas). Commissions, bonuses, and total rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
