Sr Analyst, Quality Assurance

Position Summary

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the Sr Analyst, Quality Assurance role in Woonsocket, RI. The analyst will lead quality assurance efforts on small and medium‑size projects, business support requests, and off‑cycle QA requests, ensuring quality outcomes, defining test strategies, plans, and environment checklists, and actively participating in test case development and execution. The role requires understanding of complex software architecture, participation in requirement and design reviews, and the creation and maintenance of test suites for manual and automated testing.

• Define comprehensive test strategies, plans, and environment checklist requirements for manual or automated testing.
• Lead and participate in test case development and execution for assigned projects and requests.
• Review requirements/design documentation and prepare overall test strategy and test plan.
• Prepare test suite for QA execution to meet requirements and quality targets.
• Leverage existing manual or automated test cases, design and develop new test cases aligned with test strategies.
• Oversee efforts of other QA analysts to update and develop new test cases.
• Implement QA strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risk assessment and mitigation.
• Develop test plans and assess performance data, including unit and integration testing.
• Execute test cases and validate results, meet deadlines, and provide first‑tier triage for defects found during test execution.
• Generate test reports that communicate test results, concerns, and project status with emphasis on project risk and defect rates to the product management team.
• Apply expertise in automated and manual testing, test management tools (HP, ALM, Rally, SBM teamtrack), SQL, web applications, web services, and relational databases.
• Utilize advanced mathematics, algorithms, engineering, computer science, and related concepts and techniques.
• Communicate effectively with business partners and define engineering priorities in a fluid environment.

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in this occupation or a related occupation.
• Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
  • XML, JSON, and Java Script
  • Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles
  • REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs
  • JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
  • SQL, MySQL, PowerBI, and Tableau
  • Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
  • Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector
  • Data warehousing

$85,987.00 per year to $ per year. The base salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive, and equity award programs.
