Business Analyst
Providence, RI
The position will need to work with project teams to understand the business, and technical side of requirements to deliver clear, concise documentation for both the business and development to use. This documentation will be used both to create and support applications within the firm's portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed requirements & functional specifications
- Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution
- Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables
- Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
- Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future
Experience with ecommerce platforms is a plus (Magento, Demandware, ATG), also ERP, Financial, and WMS's
Experience with working in Agile SDLC
3+ years of equivalent experience
Strong technical writing skills
