** Why this job matters:
** Analyze, define, maintain, and manage business data contained within the enterprise data warehouse.  Map and verify data from new data sources into the warehouse, ensuring the integrity of the data. Maintain operational and user-facing data documentation.

* What you will do:

*** Work with business stakeholders to understand business requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems to shape their needs into documentation (System Requirement Specification, Source to Target Mapping) that developers and testers can use to create the proper technical solution.
* Profile, analyze, and transform data in existing data stores and work with third party vendors to understand their capabilities and data sources in order to shape functional requirements and source to target mapping rules for the development team.
* Work with the business community to communicate and validate functional designs (ingestion, transformation, extraction) for data ingestion or extraction to ensure proper functionality of ELT processes.
* Support the business and technical stakeholders throughout projects. Help them understand what data is available in the data warehouse and ingest new data sources. Serve as a liaison and translator between end-user community and the corporate technical resources. Participate in SDLC activities including requirements refinement, design reviews, testing support, and production validation.
* Define and maintain user-facing data documentation and definitions for the data warehouse.
* Analyze and improve operational processes and documentation related to maintaining the data warehouse.
* Define data validation rules and perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data within the warehouse.…
