Position Overview

Information Security Specialist – Salary: $20-30/Hour –

Location:

Providence, USA – Bachelor's Degree required.

• Translate commercial enterprise requirements into reporting and metric solutions.
• Combine modern solutions related to proprietary technologies/products and aid the development/recognition of prototypes and product insights.
• Architect and construct frameworks which include information pipelines to process complex data curation & extraction requirements.
• Lead and set direction for data analyst / information security analysts.
• Handle more than one initiatives in parallel and guide time‑sensitive purchaser requirements.
• Capacity to conform to changing requirements, methodologies, and priorities.
• Apprehend diverse complicated data sets and derive relevant insights to remedy client requirements/struggles.
• Select/examine data discrepancies/statistics exception problems and paint to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Analyze statistics and metrics to identify underlying trends and patterns.
• Carry out query tuning and optimization.
• Cope with customer relationship and expectations.
• Collaborate effectively, work carefully inside a coordinated team environment, and hold composure while managing time‑sensitive limits or confronting system issues.
• Work with Director and other data security professionals to outline approach and roadmap to mature reporting application.

• Bachelor’s diploma in Engineering, Data Systems, Computer Science, or Statistics Analytics is favored.
• At least 4 years of actual‑international experience with:
• Data pipelines along with the principles of ETL, ELT, batch processing, real‑time processing, and complex event processing.
• Relational databases within a data warehouse (MS SQL and PostgreSQL).
• Massively parallel processing databases (Greenplum).
• Massive data ecosystems like Hadoop and cloud computing services (Spark, Hive, HDFS, and Elastic).
• Analytics and enterprise intelligence platforms that provide outputs inside the form of result units, measures, metrics, and reports using data exports, visualizations, dashboards, and post to API (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Dataproc, Data Studio, and Qlik).
• Stable experience in developing stored procedures (methods and functions) and query overall performance tuning, sizing, & optimization.
• Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities with the capacity to genuinely articulate answer alternatives.
• Potential to data mine, display and tune very large data sets.
• Statistical security domain knowledge is preferred (e.g., equipment and technology).
• Independently driven – potential to innovate, pursue solutions, and interact with partners autonomously without supervision.
• Revel in extra programming languages:
  Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, and many others (a plus).
