Sr. Systems Admin​/ISSM

Vision Systems, Inc. (VSI) is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to manage our full suite of IT infrastructure and maintain our classified information system.

VSI leverages a variety of operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac) on our servers and workstations. Maintaining compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-53 while continuously integrating cutting-edge technology to support VSI’s research and development work in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence is the primary challenge of this position. Ability to maintain a US DoD security clearance and obtain an IAT Level II certification are required.

Familiarity with most of the following technologies is strongly preferred, although expertise in all is not required so long as you are willing and able to learn on the job!

• Microsoft Active Directory (Both Local AD and Azure AD)
• Windows Administration
• Mac Administration
• Network infrastructure
• Scripting (Bash, Power Shell, Python)
• Puppet (configuration management)
• Splunk (logging and analysis)

Although the primary job responsibility is administration of VSI’s IT infrastructure, we anticipate opportunities for supporting software development, testing, and deployment as well. This job is restricted to US Citizens and Permanent Residents willing and able to obtain a US DoD security clearance.

Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Providence, RI area to fulfill on-site responsibilities.
