Senior Patent Associate or Counsel - Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Technologies
Our client is a top Am law 200 firm, seeking a senior level associate or counsel for its growing Intellectual Property practice. This position is open in Hartford or Providence, RI offices.
Qualifications- At least 7 years of patent experience related to mechanical, electrical and computer technologies.
- Experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. patent applications, work with foreign counsel on international filings, and enforce IP rights.
- Manage IP due diligence projects and strategic portfolio management.
- Conduct legal and technical research and analysis involving FTO, validity and infringement opinions.
- Experience with USPTO post-grant proceedings is preferred.
- Education background in mechanical, electrical, or related discipline required.
- State bar admission and USPTO admission required.
- Excellent writing and verbal/interpersonal skills. Team focused.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
