We are partnering with a reputable and well-established law firm in Providence, RI to recruit a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant with 2–3 years of litigation or comparable corporate legal experience. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Legal Assistant- Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- File documents electronically in Rhode Island state and federal courts
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings
- Track and monitor litigation deadlines to ensure timely filings
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case materials
- Support attorneys with administrative and case-related tasks as needed
- 2–3 years of litigation experience or similar corporate legal support experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a legal case management system
- Experience with electronic filing systems (state and federal courts)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal setting
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
