Overview
About the Role:
Canon USA seeks a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent customer service and maintain Canon-supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards.
- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with necessary documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines and contribute to achieving the branch/district’s metric targets.
This is a customer-facing role and may require compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination and related measures.
Requirements- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Ability to travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
Anticipated rate: $19.00 – $26.31 hourly.
