Director Of Partner Engagement – Brown University

The Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Center for Career Exploration seeks a Director of Partner Engagement to lead a team that builds and sustains relationships with alumni, families, and employers to support student career exploration and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Partner Engagement team and oversee the development of a vibrant alumni, parent, and family volunteer network.
  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of employer partnership programs, including recruitment initiatives and the Brown Connect+ platform.
  • Collaborate with the Alumni Relations and Advancement offices to create integrated partner engagement processes and systems.
  • Support new and existing Center initiatives and broader College priorities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in career services, alumni relations, advance, or a related field.
  • Proven management experience with staff and demonstrated supervisory capacity.
  • Strong record in developing and managing volunteer and alumni relationships at a university or nonprofit.
  • Experience in employer relationship management within recruiting or career center settings.
  • Knowledge of academic program administration, including planning, implementation, assessment, budget, and operational oversight.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, discretion, sound judgment, and leadership skills.
  • Technology proficiency with career services platforms and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
