Job Opportunity

Viridian Staffing's client is currently seeking an Office Manager, preferably with experience in both a retail and manufacturing environment in the cannabis industry, to help manage a busy cannabis company about 30 minutes northwest of the Providence, Rhode Island, area on the Massachusetts side.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis/hemp industry. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day activities of the office including but not limited to ordering supplies, inventory, invoicing, writing internal communication documents, counting money, basic HR duties (ie answering benefit questions, processing payroll, etc.),

working with the appropriate Massachusetts legislative agencies to ensure compliance with new updates and managing vendor relationships.

You should have at least 2+ years of office management experience, including the handling of payroll. You also have 1 year of bookkeeping experience. If you are proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, scheduling, payroll, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and are a strategic thinker with a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude, this could be the right position for you.

Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills are required. Experience working in a licensed cannabis facility is preferred, but not required.
