Are you an Operations Manager looking for a hands-on role where you can lead multi-site manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and step up into a Director-level position?
On offer is the opportunity to oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations across multiple US sites, leading production teams, optimizing processes, and embedding a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will be a visible leader on the floor, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations, data-driven decision-making, and proactive problem-solving.
This company are a manufacturer for critical industrial applications. With consistent growth, new facility expansion, and the transition into a public company, they are seeking an Operations leader who can deliver operational excellence today while preparing for the future.
On offer is a role where you will take ownership of operational KPIs, drive Lean and 5S initiatives, improve throughput and yield, and implement cross-site best practices, with a clear pathway in place to step up into Operations Director.
This role would suit an Operations professional who is hands-on, data-driven, collaborative, and motivated to develop into a senior leadership role with genuine authority and impact.
The Role:
- Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met
- Manage production teams, supervisors, and technicians across multiple shifts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, 5S, and process optimization
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve operational constraints
- Prepare and manage budgets, staffing, and capital expenditure proposals
- Build a high-performance, accountable, and engaged operations culture
The Candidate:
- Proven success leading teams in fast-paced, technical environments
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma initiatives
- Data-driven, problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills
