Position Summary

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Project Manager to support the implementation of healthcare and community-focused initiatives funded through a statewide Rural Health Transformation Program.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day project implementation activities, managing timelines and deliverables, facilitating communication among leadership and project partners, monitoring progress, and supporting the successful execution of approved work plan activities.

This role will serve as a key liaison among organizational leadership, community stakeholders, government partners, and program resources. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management, communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills, along with an understanding of healthcare, public health, community development, or human services environments.

The position requires the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities and stakeholders while ensuring that community priorities and perspectives are incorporated into project implementation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation of RHTP-funded projects and initiatives in collaboration with organizational leadership and program partners.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project work plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and implementation activities.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, barriers, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and materials, document action items, and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of coordination between organizational leadership, community partners, government representatives, technical assistance providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with documenting project activities, accomplishments, deliverables, outcomes, and performance measures.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, presentations, status updates, dashboards, and other program documentation.
  • Support the coordination of technical assistance and connect project teams with appropriate program resources and subject-matter experts.
  • Support community engagement and stakeholder outreach activities to ensure community needs and perspectives are reflected throughout project implementation.
  • Assist with procurement, contracting, invoicing, administrative coordination, and related project activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with approved plans, requirements, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues and maintain progress toward program objectives.
  • Support compliance with applicable program requirements, organizational policies, and relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Perform other project management and program coordination duties necessary to support successful implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing or coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with governments, Indigenous communities, or culturally diverse populations is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of public health, healthcare, behavioral health, community development, or human services programs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple organizations.
  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
