Chief Technical Officer; CTO – Weaving Plant

Job Description

The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) will lead end-to-end technical operations of the weaving plant, ensuring high machine efficiency, consistent fabric quality, and optimized production performance.

This leadership role focuses on technology modernization, cost optimization, process excellence, and continuous improvement
, working closely with internal teams, OEMs, vendors, and research partners.

• Diagnose technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions on the shop floor.
• Reduce machine downtime through preventive maintenance and proactive troubleshooting.
• Maintain weaving machines at PBG speeds and achieve minimum 85% plant efficiency
  .
• Monitor and improve machine utilization, productivity, and quality parameters.
• Partner with spinning teams and suppliers to optimize raw material and bought-out costs.
• Coordinate with OEMs for machine upgrades and adoption of new weaving technologies.
• Evaluate and implement innovative technical solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Assess feasibility of new fabric samples and resolve technical challenges during sampling.
• Lead development of new weaves, blends, and fabric structures based on market demand.
• Collaborate with research institutes and technical partners for continuous improvement.
• Manage technical execution of plant expansion and capacity growth projects.
• Develop SOPs, manuals, and technical documentation for standardization.
• Conduct technical training programs to upgrade team skills.
• Drive Quality Circles and MMM (Man, Machine, Material) initiatives for productivity improvement.
