Rolling Mill Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

The Rolling Mill Operator will set up and operate precision rolling mills to reduce a variety of heavy‑duty metal stock to uniform/precise thickness specifications according to work order requirements. Additionally, all Alloy Holdings employees must support and live the company values:

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure the equipment is working properly and adjust as needed.
• Feed raw material and inspect parts with precision and measuring tools such as various hand tools, finish slitter machines, micrometers, calculators, and related tools.
• Follow established company and department rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment and adjust to priority changes and short notice activity.
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules, including reporting all incidents and near misses.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent mechanical and logical thinking, able to do simple maintenance and repairs.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow written instructions.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Ability to stand and move throughout 8-10 hour shifts.
• Frequent lifting between 10 lbs. and 50 lbs.
• Moderate to loud noise level.
• Follow all PPE requirements.
