Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Kelly Services is working with a leading manufacturing company looking for an Electronics Technician in Franklin, MA.
- Shift: 6am – 2:30pm or 7am – 3:30pm. Second shift: 2:30pm – 11pm.
- Pay: $24–26.
- Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies per customer specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, bills of material, and work orders.
- Serve as project lead on select customer projects.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Drill and tap holes for mounting control units and components.
- Utilize various hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).
- Complete point‑to‑point wiring and install electronic components (PLCs, relays, lights, switches).
- Red‑line documentation as necessary to initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Perform operations such as deburring, grinding, and sawing.
- Operate hand pallet jacks for material movement within the plant.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Technical certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.
- At least 4 years of experience in control panel assembly, wiring, and schematic interpretation.
- Strong understanding of electrical currents and mechanical installation practices.
- Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
