Electrical Control Panel Assembler
This position is responsible for assembling and wiring custom electrical control panels using electrical schematics, written procedures, verbal instructions, and sample assemblies. The ideal candidate has experience working with hand tools, and strong attention to detail.
Requirements- Assemble custom electrical control panels and related components based on electrical schematics, blueprints, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
- Read and interpret electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings to ensure accurate panel construction.
- Perform panel layout, component mounting, wire routing, labeling, and final assembly activities.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues as needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Assist with inventory organization and material preparation for upcoming projects.
- Communicate project status, material needs, and potential issues to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance assembly efficiency and quality.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Previous experience using hand tools in a manufacturing, electrical, assembly, or mechanical environment preferred.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical panel assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
