CNC Machinist with Programming

Randstad is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a production team in the Providence Area. The candidate will support from CAD/CAM programming through machine setup and first-article inspection. The ideal candidate will have a high level of machining knowledge, CAM programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC processes.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00/hour (by level of skill/experience)

Hours:

Monday through Friday - 7:00AM - 3:30PM (1st shift) - 11:00AM - 9:00PM (Swing/Overlap Shift) ( Must be able to work both shifts when needed; the days may vary based on business need)

• Machine Setup and operation of CNC Mills and/or Lathes
• Change out Tooling per job setup
• Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
• Edit and troubleshoot G-code at the machine
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Select tooling, speeds & feeds for various materials
• Perform first-article inspections using preceision measuring devices
• Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, Solid Works, or similar software
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Understanding of geometry, dimensioning, and tolerancing
