Stack Bonding Operator

Stack Bond Department Position

Primary functions in the stack bond department, joining various metal alloys via gas fired bonding and induction bonding processes. Other functions will include brushing, loading/unloading furnaces, base metal trimming and general material handling to support the Bonding Department. • Bonding – setting up, operating and maintaining machinery used to bond or join metal alloys
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality
• Inspect finished product
• Base metal trimming
• Brushing
• Loading/unloading furnaces
• Material handling
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in metals
• Ability to read process sheets and prints
• Work with close tolerances
• Knowledge of using verniers, calipers and micrometers
• Working with quality control and data collection

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use material handling equipment with a 1,500 lb load
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
