Stack Bonding Operator

Position Summary :

Primary functions in the stack bond department, joining various metal alloys via gas fired bonding and induction bonding processes. O ther functions will include brushing, loading/unloading furnaces, base metal trimming and general material handling to support the Bonding Department. Additionally, all Alloy Holdings employees must support and live the company values:

Bonding – setting up, operating and maintaining machinery used to bond or join metal alloys

Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality

Inspect finished product

Base metal trimming

Brushing

Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in metals
• Ability to read process sheets and prints
• Work with close tolerances
• Knowledge of using verniers, calipers and micrometers
• Working with quality control and data collection

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use material handling equipment with a 1,500 lb load
