Responsible for spearheading the implementation of direct response marketing plans developed by channel leads within the Advancement Marketing team, the Production Specialist oversees the coordination of direct mail, email, social media, and other communications aimed at engaging, soliciting, and stewarding members of the Brown community.

Emphasizing adherence to established marketing protocols and best practices, this role ensures that projects are completed on time and uphold the highest quality standards. Collaborating closely with team members, the Production Specialist strategically contributes to developing marketing tactics that raise approximately $8M annually for the Brown Annual Fund and supports marketing efforts for other key partners across the Advancement Division.

Engaging in rigorous review and proofing, the Specialist works with the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance and Project Operations to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality control standards, fostering a culture of excellence within the Advancement Marketing team.

The Direct Marketing Production Specialist is a key liaison with stakeholders from across the division, including members of The Brown Annual Fund, Advancement Communications, and Donor Relations/Stewardship teams, as well as campus partners. Moreover, the Production Specialist will also work with outside vendors, such as direct mail houses, as part of the direct marketing process.

As a project manager, the Specialist will be an essential conduit among multiple stakeholders, including campus partners and vendors, and will provide ongoing updates throughout the project lifecycle.
