Search Engine Marketing Strategist

RDW Group is seeking an experienced practitioner of Search Engine Marketing strategy and campaign management to join our growing Digital team. This position plays a key role in our full-service media and digital strategy team, providing supportive strategic leadership and technical management of all SEM initiatives for our clients. This position offers an opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, rapidly evolving team at our storied New England agency of 40 years – as we look to build momentum in our next chapter.

The right candidate thrives as an independent learner and team educator, providing strategic leadership and measurable campaign success for both our internal agency teams and clients across Higher Education, Healthcare, Public Health, B2B, and more.

• Development and leadership of campaign strategies for client SEM campaigns across platforms
• In-platform management and launch of SEM ads across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Bing, etc)
• Strategic oversight and leadership of ongoing, proactive optimization opportunities for client campaigns
• Development and proactive identification of analytics trends across SEM campaigns
• Development and presentation of analytics insights for client reporting dashboards

• 5-7 years of SEM campaign management experience, agency environment preferable
• Ability to strategically lead and maintain SEM engagements and spend across 5-10 client accounts with precision and proactivity
• Strong analytical mindset, with proven ability to detect and adapt to campaign trends and pivots
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Proven experience within Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, You Tube, Bing Ads
• Proficiency in prompt development and AI platforms (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Notebook LM)
• Experience in writing copy and developing photo/video assets for SEM campaigns
• Previous media buying experience across digital programmatic or other media channels
