OverviewAnnual Giving & Stewardship Coordinator located in Providence, RI.
Reports To:
Director of Development. Full‑time (Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts).

Why This Role MattersAs the Annual Giving & Stewardship Coordinator, you will grow our community of supporters and ensure donors feel valued, informed, and connected to the impact of their gifts. You will coordinate fundraising campaigns, donor communications, volunteer engagement, and stewardship efforts to create meaningful experiences that fuel our mission and strengthen donor loyalty.
What You’ll Do- Help plan and execute annual fundraising campaigns, including direct appeals, giving days, recurring giving initiatives, and targeted outreach.
- Build relationships with donors and prospects through personalized phone, email, and written communications.
- Solicit and manage gifts up to $750 while identifying opportunities to increase donor engagement and giving levels.
- Partner with development leadership to transition major‑gift prospects into deeper cultivation strategies.
- Coordinate timely gift acknowledgments and personalized thank‑you communications.
- Support donor stewardship plans and impact reporting, developing materials that demonstrate how donor support changes lives.
- Monitor donor engagement and retention trends to strengthen long‑term relationships.
- Coordinate donor engagement activities tied to key initiatives such as the Annual Luncheon, 401
Gives, Holiday Drive, and United Way campaigns. - Assist with post‑event stewardship and follow‑up.
- Manage internal diaper donation requests and donor fulfillment tracking to ensure smooth program support.
- Coordinate volunteer opportunities for donors and prospective supporters, serving as primary contact for scheduling and communication.
- Track volunteer participation and engagement for stewardship and reporting purposes.
- Ensure accurate donor records, gift entry, pledges, and engagement tracking within the CRM.
- Support fundraising reports and performance metrics, also maintaining data integrity across development systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
- Experience with donor databases or CRM systems is preferred.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based on performance, departmental needs, and organizational priorities. On‑site presence will be required to support donor engagement, events, and team collaboration.
