Brown Health Medical Group is excited to be opening its fourth Urgent Care Center in Johnston and Barrington, RI! We are currently seeking Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants. The Position: We are currently in search of a Nurse Practitioner. The right candidate will possess:

  • Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment while maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with patients and families effectively and courteously, clients, coworkers, clinical staff, and physicians.
  • Progressive thinking for budget, training, and quality issues.
  • Strong leadership qualities.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience with in urgent care, primary care or emergency department setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic emergency department, internal medicine, generalist, occupational medicine, and family practice procedures required.
  • Experience with pediatrics required.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited advanced practice program
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Licensure as an FNP in Rhode Island
