Seeking a full-time Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join a private outpatient practice in Warwick or South Kingstown, RI. The role offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4pm, with no weekends, holidays, or call.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced nursing and medical pain management for patients with acute and chronic pain.
- Perform history and physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
- Manage medications, including narcotics and non-narcotics, following established guidelines.
- Assess patients for suitability of interventional procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, TENS, spinal cord stimulator placement, and radio-frequency ablation.
- Perform procedures including trigger point injections, Botox/Dysport injections, and removal of temporary SCS leads.
Benefits include 401(k) with matching, continuing education reimbursement, health/dental insurance, malpractice coverage, and paid time off. Requires Master’s degree, RN licensure, and preferred certification as Nurse Practitioner. Salary ranges from $112,000 to $130,000 annually.
