Step into a dynamic nursing environment providing expert care on a Cardiac Stepdown unit. As an RN, you’ll utilize your specialized skills to support cardiac patients through recovery, contributing to positive patient outcomes and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications- Valid, unrestricted RN license
- Previous experience in cardiac stepdown or a similar acute care setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring abilities
- Proficient with electronic medical record documentation
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Deliver comprehensive patient care to individuals recovering from cardiac events or procedures
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate cardiac drips as directed
- Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and allied health professionals to create personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, recovery expectations, and self-care
- Act calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, responding to changes in patient condition
- Document all assessments and interventions clearly and accurately
