Position: Resident Care Director (RN) - Assisted Living

Resident Care Director (RN) – Assisted Living

Full Time | Days

Our Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living is a non‑profit, locally owned organization providing compassionate, high‑quality care since 1882. With 7 locations across Rhode Island, we offer a full continuum of services including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Home Care, and Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee resident care, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and state regulations
  • Assess changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate care
  • Develop and update care plans; conduct care conferences with residents and families
  • Ensure accurate documentation, medication management, and physician order follow‑up
  • Hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff
  • Provide staff training, orientation, and ongoing education
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Manage nursing supplies and equipment to ensure proper availability and function
Qualifications
  • RN graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Hold a current Rhode Island RN License.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a clinical hospital setting, assisted living, skilled nursing facility or home health care agency.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend intermittently.
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and physically assist residents.
