As the Director of Nursing at Coventry, you will oversee clinical operations on your assigned unit, manage a team of nursing staff, and provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. Responsibilities- Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and resident-centered care
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and medical standards
- Recruit, hire, and mentor nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment
- Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures, ensuring effective and efficient clinical operations
- Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety and quality of care, addressing concerns and coordinating interventions as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices
- Foster a culture of open communication, transparency, and accountability within the nursing team
- Master's degree in Nursing Administration or a related field
- Current, unencumbered State of Rhode Island RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- $150,000 annually
