Wound Care Clinical Program Manager

We are seeking a Wound Care Clinical Program Manager to join the team at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. In this role, you will lead evidence-based wound, ostomy and skin integrity practices, advance prevention and quality initiatives, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

This is a full-time position with occasional weekends and travel between system entities and an hourly pay range of $37.13-$74.26.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the system clinical expert for wound, ostomy and skin integrity management, providing consultation on complex wounds, pressure injuries and related concerns
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans and advance early identification and prevention strategies
  • Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of wound care and healthy skin programs across care settings
  • Monitor wound-related quality metrics, investigate safety events and partner with nursing, quality and safety leaders to improve outcomes
  • Design education, competency and onboarding programs; mentor clinical staff, wound care nurses and students; and support professional certification
  • Translate evidence into practice, evaluate emerging products and technologies and ensure alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or a Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
    Wound, Ostomy and Continence certification (CWOCN) required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Brown University Health will reimburse the cost for certification.
