Role Description Joy Home Care is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse to join our clinical team as a full-time RN Clinical Supervisor. This position includes field-based client assessments, development and oversight of plans of care, supervision of Certified Nursing Assistants and homemakers, clinical documentation review, and coordination of home care services.
The RN Clinical Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Nursing and works collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, direct-care staff, healthcare providers, office personnel, and payer representatives.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Rhode Island Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience.
- Home care, community health, case management, long-term care, or supervisory nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Knowledge of nursing assessment, care planning, delegation, CNA scope of practice, and clinical documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, teaching, and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage an assigned caseload and required supervisory deadlines.
- Ability to use an electronic medical record and other computerized systems.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned areas of Rhode Island.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience working with adult, geriatric, pediatric, or disabled populations is preferred.
