Providence, RI
A growing cardiology group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. This is a new position, with an additional provider expected to be added in approximately three months.
The role will be in an office inside the hospital and offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient cardiology, working closely with experienced cardiologists who are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include- New patient evaluations and cardiology consultations
- Inpatient and outpatient patient management
- Evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions
- Collaboration with cardiologists on treatment plans
- Stress testing as needed
- Anticipated volume of up to 20–25 patients per day
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Ideal Candidate- NP or PA
- Cardiology experience highly preferred
- A ICU / critical care background will be considered
- Experience with cardiac disease and treatment modalities
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills
