Women & Infants Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our 30-year-established, highly respected academic midwifery service in Providence, Rhode Island. This is an exciting opportunity to combine evidence-based clinical practice with graduate medical education as a faculty member of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
- Provide care to a diverse patient population across Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, Postpartum, and the Antepartum Care Unit
- Practice in our brand-new, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery Center, featuring 20 spacious, modern private rooms and a dedicated two-bed Alongside Midwifery Unit
- Work days, nights, and weekends (7:30a
-5:30p and 12p
-10p) - Engage in graduate medical education through clinical supervision, mentorship, and teaching of OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine residents, as well as medical students
- Participate in clinical research, scholarship, and quality improvement alongside national leaders in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Midwifery

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Nurse Midwifery (CNM) program
- Current CNM certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Eligible for or holds an active Rhode Island CNM/midwifery license, Controlled Substances Registration (CSR), and DEA registration
- Minimum of 4+ years of clinical CNM experience required
