Research Scientist, Clinical Research
SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator and within established policies, performs scientific investigative research in biopsychosocial areas related to patient care. Researches literature, participates in the design of experimental protocols, and develops procedures to achieve research objectives.
Conducts research according to established protocols, collects and analyzes data using statistical methodology, and assists in writing presentations and papers for publication.

- Conduct experiments or participant interviews according to established protocols and research methodology.
- Participate in design of experimental protocols to meet scientific objectives and enable quantitative and qualitative data evaluation.
- Gather, tabulate, graph, and analyze data using statistical methodology and spreadsheet software.
- Interpret results through conferences with supervisors and researchers, reviewing data against hypotheses and methodology.
- Review literature relevant to the research.
- Assist in writing presentations and papers for publication when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE: BS/BA in a related field. Master’s degree desirable.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of professional research experience. Data entry skills and PC experience required.
While most duties are performed in an office environment, the incumbent may be exposed to a patient‑care environment. Exposure to contagious or noxious elements is minimized by adherence to safety procedures and protocols.
PAY RANGE$48,068.80 - $79,372.80
