Job Description
Elephant Therapeutics is an early-stage biotechnology company developing drug candidates for neurodegenerative diseases. We are seeking a diligent, enthusiastic Research Scientist to join our team.
What You Will Do- Design and execute cell culture experiments to support therapeutic development programs
- Culture, passage, and expand mammalian cells in both 2D and 3D formats, including neural progenitor cells
- Perform in vitro assays to dissect the mechanism of action of therapeutic molecules in cultured cells (iPSC-derived)
- Operate flow cytometers and microplate readers, and perform immunophenotyping and ELISA-based quality control assays
- Manage laboratory reagent inventory and support receipt and shipping logistics for partnered programs
- Communicate project goals, timelines, progress, and results clearly to the team
- Master’s degree in molecular biology or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and statistical modeling software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent, takes initiative, hardworking, trustworthy
- Strong attention to detail
