Key Lead - Providence Place, Abercrombie & Fitch

Job Description

The Key Lead is responsible for ensuring all customers receive a quality in‑store experience by acting as the Floor Supervisor, providing guidance and coaching to Brand Reps and Stock Associates, and ensuring store operations run effectively. The Key Lead is part of the store leadership team and drives store performance on the floor through customer experience and achieving daily sales.

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Operate register/point‑of‑sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, brand awareness, and drive sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets and maintain inventory control.
• Represent the brand and exemplify company culture and values.

Schedule will vary weekly; expect at least 12‑16 hours per week, including availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and certain holidays. During peak time frames, hours will increase to support business needs.

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred, or equivalent.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Retail supervisory/management experience not required.
• Experience leading groups or teams preferred.
• Strong customer focus and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Energetic, outgoing, and assertive.
• Initiative, confidence, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks while being detail‑oriented.
• Strong work ethic.
