Retail & Store Manager

What will you do?- Support the store leadership team and drive exceptional customer experience.
- Coach and develop associates, ensuring operational excellence across customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards.
- Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to maximize profitability, foster an inclusive culture, and contribute to overall store success.
- Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions and model selling behaviors.
- Monitor progress against key performance indicators, help the team achieve sales goals, and support individuals in meeting their targets.
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing, floor coverage, and task delegation.
- Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members, providing ongoing feedback.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand guidelines.
- Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss‑prevention practices.
- Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.
- 1+ year of retail or store leadership experience in a customer‑focused, fast‑paced environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred; experience and achievements are also valued).
- Proven ability to drive results, exceed sales and profit goals, and build high‑performing, diverse teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Solution‑oriented and flexible, able to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
- Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
- Physical capability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods, perform bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lift light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

This is a part‑time or limited‑time (internship) position. Compensation range is $20.50 – $26.88 per hour with potential incentive awards. Benefits are limited for this role. Compensation and benefits are described separately in the full job posting.
